M.A in Social Work (Public Health) – Interview Experience

We talked to a student of Public Health course to get familiar with his interview experience of TISS. He has done is graduation in Physiotherapy from University of Delhi and right now, he is in his internship period. Here’s his experience.

Extempore topic: “Healthcare in underprivileged people”

Questions asked during his interview are as follows: –

  1. Tell about yourself.
  2. Why are you interested in social work in public health?
  3. Can’t you work in the public health system as a physiotherapist?
  4. What is primary health care?
  5. What are the 5 principles of primary health care?
  6. What do you think are the underprivileged section in rural and urban areas?
  7. Can we do without private hospitals?
  8. Name a plan that supports public-private partnership in health care.

His entire interview was for around 25 minutes.
