Between the ongoing nationwide hustle and a lot of uncertainties, Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, has successfully wrapped its HRM and LR placements for the academic year 2019-21. As per the record, a total of 36 companies participated in the placement process for hiring students out of 66 in total. Amongst the top recruiters were Accenture, Aditya Birla Group, Asian Paints, Citi, Dell Technologies, Flipkart, ITC, Marico, Nestle, RPG, TAS, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Deloitte India, etc.
Digging more into the detail of companies, Alembic Pharma, Byju’s, Bridgestone, Darwinbox, Freshworks, GE Shipping, Pepperfry, SKF, Tata CliQ, Tata Electronics, Unifrax, and Vedanta were the debutants in the campus whereas, companies like Infosys Consulting, JSW, Texas Instruments were back on campus after a hiatus.

Now talking about the placement part, the final process went well with the highest salary offered this year to the batch of 2021 was of whooping amount of INR 29.32 lakhs.
Talking numerically, the top 10% of all the salaries provided to the batch averaged INR 27.43 lakhs, while the top 25% of all the salaries provided averaged INR 25.16 lakhs.

This is not for the first time that the students of TISS stood so tall in the crowd. Last year too, one out of every five students in the HRM & LR TISS Mumbai placements received a salary of around INR 25 LPA. To put it simply, roughly INR 25 LPA was offered to more than 20% of the 2018-2020 group.
TISS students have always outshined themselves through their tremendous performance and has somewhere helped the institute to become what it is today.
